Stuart Wili Director and his team have over 30 years’ experience in design and manufacture of these types of instruments.
He has for many years been a director of Burkard Manufacturing Ltd and also a Director of Burkard Scientific Sales Ltd.
He has hands-on design and manufacturing experience of working with electromechanical, electronic and software technologies as well as biochemical processes. Stuart was Chief Design Engineer when Burkard Manufacturing Ltd was involved in the development of air sampling equipment for NASA where stringent launch and flight specifications were required
We have a team of engineers that are experienced in precision engineering design and instrumentation manufacture including extensive knowledge in computer aided design, 3d printing, CAM manufacturing using CNC machines and manufacture of specialised air sampling and laboratory equipment.
We operate from purpose-built premises in the UK equipped with R&D laboratories, test facilities and on-site manufacturing/assembly lines.

Remote DNA Sensing
We are now looking to take airborne pathogen detection to an on-farm level so farmers and growers can have daily web-based information on crop disease risks. The disease risk and results can be access on the new SpraySaver web site.
We have designed a DNA Auto Spore Trap capable of taking daily air samples and performing multiple DNA LAMP assay tests. Information can be tailored to the crop diseases farmers or growers are interested in. This enables accurate crop-spray predictions – including not spraying if there is little or no infection risk thus enabling huge cost savings on pesticides. Great for the produce and also the environment!
Our aim is to continuously develop the capability for farmers, growers, teaching organisations and the chemical industry to monitor crops for airborne particles and pathogens or test the efficacy of crop treatments.
The LFD Auto Spore Trap is one of the latest innovations from Agri Samplers Ltd, capable of automated sampling, analysis and alerting of impending crop disease risks and ongoing response to treatment.
We are currently working on multiple research projects worldwide including the design and manufacture of new semi-automated air and insect samplers for SARDI in Australia.
These new samplers will be located all over Australia to monitor airborne pathogens and airborne insect numbers.
